Local needs.
A shared conversation.
Explore how proposed infrastructure could relate to municipal services and community development.

Begin with the need.
Describe the need before the solution: what is difficult today, who is affected and what improvement would mean locally. Include the town or county and any timing that matters.
Shape a useful discussion.
- The priority. Which service or project needs attention, and what would success look like to the people it affects?
- The people. Who understands the need, who makes decisions and who needs an opportunity to ask questions?
- The proposal. What benefit is being considered, what would it depend on and who would be responsible for it?
A discussion of local priorities does not establish funding, a project commitment or a promised outcome.
